Louie Vuitton
I just called the Louie store in Union Square. This is their newest back pack. It's priced at $1,530.00. I know I shouldn't be thinking about this kind of stuff, but with hard work and dedication, this can be mine. I used to be the one raiding the back packs while y'all was raiding the t-shirt section. Even though if this isn't available when I get there, at least I have a ball park figure. I'm back on my everyday kill shit, shit. lol

Anjelah Johnson- Bon Qui Qui Flight Attendant
I love Anjelah Johnson. I just watched hella of her videos on YouTube. I think she's dope.
Pier
This picture was taken off a long pier in the Ventura area. It tripped me out because it was so far out into the ocean (I was looking to the right). It felt like we was walking forever! Actually, we was running! lol Love this pic. If you look closely you can see some people hang gliding or whatever they call it. I remember seeing an older Asian dude just chillin in an old ass Polo coat. I laughed and told myself, "That's Me!" Haha

Jay-Z Freestyle - Funkmaster Flex
I know this came out a minute ago but it's my favorite Jay freestyle to this day. #NowPlaying
The Social Network
I love the movie, The Social Network. I even called my friends that sell DVDs to try to find me a perfect copy. In the mean time, I searched on YouTube to see what comes up. I just finished watching 5 of 5 of this news conference that took place before the movie was in theatres. This reminds me of the show, "Inside the Actors Studio" that comes on Bravo. I love accidentally finding inspiration. So much, that I've become good at it. (if that makes any sense) But I hope you enjoy the movie as much as I do. Because in my opinion, it's an inspiration overload and you can never have too much of that... Peace

Trust
Since my friends out here found out that I'm back, they've been hitting me left and right with new shoes for cheap or for trade. We all have shoes we have to keep and shoes that we are willing to trade. Ever since I went through extensive training with Nike, I've been looking at shoes differently. I'm more about the technology of a shoe nowadays. I mean, I have my classic originals put up, but as of late, I've been more about a huge air bubble with flywire on a mid top basketball shoe.
When I first seen this picture when my good friend, Dion, mms'd me from Oakland. I quickly did my research. My first question was, "Those ain't no dupes right?" lol. He said, "nah, I got these at Foot Locker, they brand new." He told me how he wanted a certain pair of kicks that I wore once to Sabor in San Jose, but didn't get in and went back home to change my whole fit. (I thought for sure I was gonna get in) He don't care that I wore em once. He said, "what I call used is still brand new." (I had to laugh at that) But anyways, I mms'd him a picture of the shoes and surprised him with a matching jacket right after. He text me back, "hell yea, come through on Wednesday." He also said that he was just gonna cash me out for the coat and trade for these brand new Lebrons.
The thing is, we both know if we really wanted an item, that we really didn't feel was a keeper, we'd just give them away to each other. But this deal is awesome. We both know where the shoes came from. We both know how many times we wore them. We both know where we wore them. Shit, I was just gonna give him the jacket, and I'll probably just spend what he gives me on dinner for us at The Cheesecake Factory bar in SF no homo. (my favorite restaurant as an experience) Plus, I haven't been in the Bay for about, four months. So, I must say, I'm quite excited.
I just wanted to share the details of a good trade with all of you. I do this all the time. It's all about trust. Without trust, you ain't getting shit from me. Plus, let me point out, these may be a nice pair of expensive kicks and all that, but since Nike keeps coming out with a million different colorways once the shoe is presented, it takes away from the, "special feeling." Like, I remember when having a certain color was the key to a win. (or a lose) I wish Nike just came out with 3 different colorways and spread out the release dates when a new shoe comes out. They'd probably get more business... from me at least. Peace

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
I haven't felt compelled to actually go to a theatre and watch a specific movie since, "New York, I Love You." I know I know, it's been a while. I feel like an alien. But every night I watch the late show with David Letterman and tonight Michael Douglas was a guest. It made me take a double look at the screen (because my laptop is always open) when Dave brought up he had cancer and that it was in stage four. (Cancer isn't good at all, but level one is where you want to be) Michael Douglas was always a great actor to me. Grew up watching him. He spoke on how he found out the same day he was a guest on Letterman. He said he wishes he didn't find out during a movie opening.
I absolutely love the, "Gordon Gecko" character. It's hard for me to look up to people whether it's fictional or non-fictional. Wall Street (1) even had me at the gym playing racquetball. A true power character being played while having cancer and not even knowing it. It's in his neck from smoking and drinking too much. I can't wait to see this movie. Because, it's like, two rolls being played at once...

I love TOKiMONSTA
I love Tokimonsta. A good friend of mine put me up on her. The particular piece presented to me sounded like a raging takeover beat (http://eliteislander.blogspot.com/2010/02/blog-post.html) so I automatically assumed it was a dude that made it. But when I searched for her on facebook, I noticed it was a chick and I instantly fell in love. Check out some of her latest. I can listen to this all day... Like I did, today.

Serve like Sampras
I'm usually not the one looking for attention, but when I seen these, I quickly controlled click. I came across them when I googled, "tennis ball." I googled that particular phrase because I'm in the middle of this book called, The Inner Game of Tennis. I wanted a picture of a tennis ball as my background on my BlackBerry, just to remind me of what I have learned thus far. And instead of using a picture of a regular tennis ball, I used this picture. I mean, hey, why not. The technology used in a Hyper dunk is amazing in itself.

I hope I don't get a sunglass tan on my face
I love this picture that I took. I know I know, I should bring my real camera everywhere I go. It's just that I'm scared that a system will make me lose my edge. But when I took it, we were on a "barely beach." Barely beach meaning, just waves, barely any sand. So this is what I was looking up at as I was laying down. I immediately set it as my background on my BlackBerry which led me to show my blog carers. I hope you like it, especially how I decided not to turn it right side up woktography
The Audition
My best friend and I always been on that Amoeba Rasputin hype. Taking chances on movies that look interesting. One day my best friend handed me this DVD without the case and told me it's not in English but read it and watch it anyways. So I did and it was the craziest sh*t I ever seen in my life lol. Then come to find out, my cousin seen it and he couldn't believe that I seen it. The whole thing is just hilarious to me. It's like, what were you thinking lmao

The Sushi Switch Up
My favorite sushi used to be the Dragon Roll. It's been my favorite for years and years. But for the past year and some change, I've been on the Lion King Roll. At this place called Sushi Boat, you have the option to sit at the bar and pick plates off the rotating boats on water. Each plate usually contains four pieces of sushi. So since I was new to this restaurant, I took chance after chance no matter how it looked. But one day I grabbed the Lion King Roll and instantly fell in love. I looked at the plate and looked at the chart and it was one of the most expensive too. But the reason why I'm blogging this is because last night I ordered it at this random restaurant in Sacramento and it was HELLA good. A friend of mine did tell me one time, "Sushi Boat? Hell no. It's not fresh!" I mean, no dis to Sushi Boat because I think it's great and it's a perfect place to watch ESPN and grab some quick delicious sushi. But ever since she said that, it kinda stuck in my head. Last nights experience taught me to order my favorite sushi at different restaurants. Who knows, you just might switch it up again :)

Tina Fey
Last night I watched Tina Fey on the Jimmy Fallon show and decided to let the world know about my secret crush. It's been going on for a while now. I mean, we all know she acts. But when I found out she's also a producer and this that and the third made me like her a lot more. She's hot, energetic and funny. I would LOVE to have her around me. But I'm not trying to push her on you, she's mine! Hahaaa

Russell Simmons- Do You!
This is the first real book that I ever read from front to back. I mean, I bought other self-help books before, but I always ended up returning them or using them as a decoration in an out-of-town condo. lol. I used to read this book like my life depended on it and I still pick it up to this day just to refresh my memory. It felt/feels like he was/is speaking directly to me. Cussing and everything. I told one of my fellow classmates to read it which led me to blog it. It made me realize that Plan A is still in full motion and always will be.... God is Good

BOOM! lol
This movie is awesome. It had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. I always watch movies and use em as an analogy to my life (if it goes with it). I loved how the bomb detonator would be fearless getting that close to save lives. But my favorite part of the movie was at the end. It told me that in the end, you really only have two things. And that's family and your work. The things that you should love the most.

Home. Work.
I had to create a piece using boredom, excitement, peace, and depression all in one. Mind you, I only had one magazine that I was willing to rip up. Using "the grey scale" I came up with this. I think I took it too far but I usually do that when instrumentals are fucking up my hearing... But check it out.
Clock wise:
1. Boredom: When you're reading books and looking at the time you must be bored. Lol
2. Excitement: I thought this was funny. This couple was looking on their computer looking hella excited and I used the back of a car window and a dude with a happy face to make it look like they was skype'n lol
3. Peace: That throwback video, "24 Hours with Russell Simmons" taught me that keepin running water structures around you can create peace. I was going to add something else, but that wouldn't be peaceful.
4. Depression: Prada dude looked hella depressed in his frames for some reason. Iono, I always look happy in my frames. I thought it was depressing to look at. So I made something for him to be depressed about. A man having cpr being done to him. That's his friend, and he hopes it works.

Mick Boogie – Sounds From The Front Row
When I wake up bright and early in the morning I usually go to Starbucks, order a grande caramel machiatto, and choose between a blueberry muffin or a slice of lemon loaf (which I eat upside down). Then halfway through my coffee, I call all my friends and make sure they ain't in bed huggin' a pillow. Lmao! Today, one of my friends made sure that I was on this. I only heard number one and I like it already, but according to his musical opinion that I value, I'm blogging this before I even listen to every word of the mixtape. IF I don't like it, I will make a phone call.. lol Nah but, the picture is blog worthy itself.
Check it out, this is where I downloaded it at: http://www.blazed1.com/?p=2341

Swimfan
I just watched this movie and I started trippin out at the end. I realized that I met Erika Christensen at The Highlands when I was working at the T-Mobile in front of Brookstone (it's not there anymore). It's funny because, back then, I was star struck. She was having a coffee with her agent under an umbrella. I walked up to her and said, "ain't you the girl from _______________" (I forgot what movie I said) and she was like, "no." lol Then I guessed again. Then she was like, "no." Then I guessed again, and she started laughing like, "no!" I said, whatever, and took a couple blurry pictures of us from my cheap ass phone and was hella disappointed when I realized you couldn't tell it was her.

I love Bloc Party. This video kinda reminds me of a Takashi Murakami cartoon or something. How it takes you through hella different sh*t in a short period of time. I thought it was cool, concept and all. Watch it. I gotta go to bed. It's past my bed time. Haha

I want these really really bad
I got hella kicks. I think I covered all the colors. lol But I been on a black and gold, patent leather, high collar, crack jeans, and big curly hair hype lately. So it's only natural that I would want these on my blog if not on my feet.
Note to wok: Stop buying sh*t! You know what.. Return all that sh*t and buy one super expensive pair. You should only be going out that much anyways. Wala.

I know I know. But this is one of my favorite songs of all time! It always puts me in a good mood. Even one of my boys said, "When in doubt, throw it in the bag!" lol Plus, I just realized it's been my ring tone ever since. & I ain't the type to be on that cute ring tone sh*t either. lol

Me and my conglomerates shall remain anonymous
Once again. Just posting music on here like a page out of a magazine onto my wall. My friend in Dallas invited me to All Star Weekend and tells me to listen to this song. He knows it's hard for me to like a rapper, and he also knows when introducing a rapper to me, I have to like the first song I hear in order for me to become a listener (I'm real careful with the word, "fan"). I wasn't going to listen and just be like, "yeah, I'll listen." But when he said Just Blaze I had to for some reason.
I'm exhausted from striving toward my dream. I'm real careful with the word, "dream" because there's hella dream killers out there and some of them don't mean to. That's why I try not to speak on it and just move on it. But I hadda switch it up a little this time around. You can't be scared of your success. You can't be scared of your success. I say it twice I say it nice. Don't be scared of your success.
Iono if you heard this song yet. And if you did, good. I call this kinda sh*t, power sh*t. It gives me an I don't give a fuck attitude. Especially after a long day. I love this song right now. Reminds me of solo moves. But you can only do so much by yourself. You have to have a team of some sort. You have to pick the players around you. You have to play your position as best as you can. I'm treating this like basketball practice and shoot around the clock on yall, feel me. But anyways, WHATEVER! lol This is my song. I shoulda just put that :)

"My life is like it was directed by Hype" -Jay-z
Today I met other aspiring directors. We sat and chilled. Well, actually we were walking around really fast. Feels like I live in Vegas again. lol. But they made me realize that there are plenty of jobs that go with the Digital Film Making and Video Production Major.I kinda knew that being an extra all those times in LA because I'm really observant. I remember wandering where I wasn't suppose to and asking the people that looked important a lot of questions. Sh*t, I even got kicked off set once.
But after doing plenty of listening, the only other thing that was interesting to me other than directing was being a cinematographer. I know I spoke of this before. About how Hype Williams cinematographer is/was Malik Sayeed, and in my personal opinion, Hypes videos are/were only good when he uses him. (I know I'm talking hella circa right now)
So here's my pregame dilemma. Do I want to be the guy that helps the director hit the right angles and lighting? Or do I want to be the guy that comes up with the whole idea? That be hella fun to do both but I want/need to be good at one specific thing. (Kinda like how Michael Jordan was on the White Sox too lol) I know that I'd be a great cinematographer but how do I know that I wouldn't be a great director??? I guess that's why I'm here.. *talking to myself*

Porsche Panamera TV Commercial (60 sec version)
When I recently heard about the new four door Porche Panamera I started to doubt it from the jump. Personally, I felt like it was taking away from the point of getting one. But when I googled it and youtubed it, it quickly changed my perspective on how I look at four door coupes... "I'm too tall for two seaters anyways." lol. Hopefully I can get one one day. I wouldn't even show off. I would really stay out the way then :)
The Hurricane
My friend asked me today what inspires me and who inspires me and the very first thing I thought about was this movie, "The Hurricane" played by one of my favorite actors Denzel Washington. This movie right here, to me at least, is hard to watch. And if you do, you better watch it all the way through or it's just gonna get you mad. You think you're going through something??? Watch this movie. I highly recommend it. & what's crazy is that when my friend asked me, I was going through a lightweight problem that I created in my world and shortly after I thought about it I realized and told myself, "stop cryin'." lol. But yeah, watch this movie if you haven't yet. & if you have already, think about it and cut the net off the rim. Peace

Pictures That Make You Smile
I posted this because gloomy weather can easily adjust your attitude. I been fighting it and fighting it and fighting it. Like, listening to songs, watching movies, and reading books that lift my spirit. Not to sound like a corn, but for real. I know first hand being ina "bad situation" and having to do this in order to look passed it. Plus, it makes it easier in the future

Hov & Swizzy! lol- On To The Next One
I know you seen it duh. I know you heard it duh. lol. When I blog music, I'm not showcasing it or anything. It's just "my song" at the moment (or still my song at the moment) and I play it a lot. I even answer my phone saying random lyrics from the song and they always finish it. "So don't be mad at him when it's on to the next one" lol
